This statement means that you should always choose the right because then you wont have to deal with the bad consequences. If you do something that is good you will feel good, but if you do something that is bad then you will feel bad about doing something that is bad. You should never do something that is bad because then you will feel bad aqbout doing bad things. If you choose the right then you will be successful , but if you choose the wrong then you will not be happy .
