This statement means that it is better to be alone, than to be with someone that is going to end up hurting you . If you have friends that do drugs , and are doing bad in school , sooner or later they will try to influence you and convince you to try drugs. Thats why it is better to be by yourself , then to be with bad company. You should always do what is right for you, not what your friends tell you. Just because the people you are around with does it , doesn't mean that it is the right thing to do. This statement also means that just because you're with someone , it won't be wrong. If your friends tell you to try drugs , don't do it because then you will end up hurt and not them . Always choose the right .
